About Daniel

Daniel advises boards of directors and executive management on the complex legal problems they face on a daily basis by drawing on his extensive experience representing high growth technology companies and investors.  He was previously Chief Business and Legal Affairs Officer at uLab Systems, where he led the company's legal and business development functions.  Prior to uLab, he was Deputy General Counsel for Audentes Therapeutics, where he led the contracting and equity administration functions and supported the company's sale to Astellas Pharma for approximately $3 billion in January 2020.  Prior to Audentes, Daniel served as Corporate Counsel & Secretary at Invuity where he was the sole in-house attorney responsible for all legal matters for the company including managing the sale of the company to Stryker for approximately $200 million in October 2018.  Prior to Invuity, he served as Corporate Counsel at ZELTIQ Aesthetics, where he led the company's transaction and corporate governance functions and managed the sale of the company to Allergan for approximately $2.5 billion in April 2017.  Daniel began his career at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he advised companies and investors on hundreds of corporate finance and M&A transactions.
